TEADAL Showcases ASG System for Seamless, Compliant Data Sharing
Authored by IBM
The TEADAL project has released a new video showcasing its Automatic Shared Federated Data Product Generation (ASG) system, a key innovation designed to simplify and automate the creation of compliant Shared Federated Data Products (SFDPs).
ASG enables developers to transform data sharing agreements into operational services by automating SFDP generation and providing a unified runtime for execution. It supports seamless negotiation, development, and deployment of data products across federated data ecosystems.
Key components include:
- ASG Tool: A command-line interface for generating SFDP projects.
- ASG Runtime: A reusable library handling data fetching, transformation, caching, and telemetry.
- ASG SFDP: A deployable API application that delivers data to consumers under agreed conditions.
The system integrates with tools like GitLab CI, Docker, Redis, and a local LLM service for privacy-preserving AI inference. A shared transforms library ensures consistent data processing throughout.
ASG is a step forward in TEADAL’s mission to enable trustworthy, energy-aware data sharing—reducing development time, ensuring compliance, and paving the way for AI-assisted data services.
