Advancing Federated European Data Spaces
The TEADAL project (Trustworthy, Energy-Aware federated Data Lakes along the computing continuum) proudly announces its Final Event, a comprehensive webinar titled “Advancing Federated European Data Spaces – The TEADAL Perspective”, on October 2, 2025, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm CEST. The online event will be hosted via Zoom, open to all through free—but mandatory—registration.
This concluding webinar offers a unique opportunity to delve into TEADAL’s pioneering contributions to trustworthy, energy-efficient federated data lakes within a European context. Key highlights include:
- Keynote Introduction (10:30–10:45 am)
An overview of TEADAL’s vision and mission—including fostering privacy-aware, energy-efficient data sharing—along with foundational themes like trust, confidentiality, and governance within federated systems. - Technical Demonstrations (10:45–11:45 am)
A walkthrough of TEADAL’s core technological innovations: the TEADAL node, federated catalog mechanisms, and privacy-aware control plane. These will be showcased across diverse pilot domains such as healthcare, Industry 4.0, mobility, viticulture, and regional planning—highlighting tangible benefits in privacy enforcement, energy efficiency, and governance. - Panel Discussion – The Future of Data Spaces (11:45 am–12:30 pm)
A forward-looking discussion addressing takeaways from TEADAL’s pilots, with insight from policy experts and external stakeholders. Topics include alignment with GDPR and the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC), sustainable governance models, and strategies for real-world adoption beyond the project’s conclusion.
